URMRKT Launches Public Investment Campaign on Wefunder to bring an online marketplace to AgricultureLearn More
We owe this milestone to the people who built it.

We owe this milestone to the people who built it.

A note of thanks to every American, and especially to the people of American agriculture, who keep this country fed, fueled, and standing tall.

Before there was a nation, there was a harvest. Before the flag, before the Declaration, before a single word of the Constitution was set to paper, there were hands in American soil, planting, tending, and trusting that the work would be worth it. Two hundred and fifty years later, that trust is still the quiet engine underneath everything we are.

This milestone belongs to every American who ever built, taught, healed, hauled, served, or sacrificed. It took all of us. And still, through every chapter of the American story, every boom and every hard year, every war and every recovery, agriculture showed up before sunrise and carried more than a crop. It carried the country. When markets soared and when they didn’t, when the weather cooperated and when it turned, the fields still got worked, the trucks still rolled, and the bins still filled. That’s not just an industry. That’s a covenant with the rest of us.

And yet the markets haven’t always returned that loyalty. Too often the people doing the work, the ones growing the crop, hauling the load, or keeping the tanks full, have been the last to see a fair price and the first to absorb the risk. Most of them stand on both sides of the market too, selling one week and buying feed, fuel, and fertilizer the next. The value they create has always been real. The visibility into it has not.

“The farmer is the only man in our economy who buys everything at retail, sells everything at wholesale, and pays the freight both ways.”

A truth told for generations. We intend to help change it.

WHAT WE’RE BUILDING

One trusted place where buyers and sellers finally see the same thing.

We started URMRKT for one simple purpose: to give the people who buy, sell, and haul real goods one trusted, central marketplace where they can do business their way, know the full delivered price before they commit, save time, and walk away with more money in their pockets.

We’re starting in American agriculture, with hay, grain, fuel, and fertilizer, because that’s where our roots are and where the need is greatest. But make no mistake, this is not only an agriculture company. The same problem lives in every industry that moves physical goods, and URMRKT is built to serve them all in time.

We haven’t fully launched yet. What follows is a genuine look at the product we’re putting the finishing touches on: real screens from our preview build, not a promise drawn up for a brochure. Whether you’re rooting for us, considering joining us, or planning to do business on day one, we wanted the people closest to us to see it first.

EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE

The whole operation, laid out plain.

Most people in this business run their world out of a notebook, a phone full of calls, and their own memory. URMRKT puts it in one place: what’s for sale, what’s been ordered, what’s been paid, and what’s still owed. Log in, and the day is already laid out.

A FAIR PRICE, OUT IN THE OPEN

No more guessing what something is really worth.

For generations, the real price of things was something a handful of middlemen knew and everyone else guessed at. URMRKT puts the market in plain sight. Sellers post what they have and what they want for it. Buyers see what’s available and what it truly costs. Both sides look at the same numbers at the same moment, and nobody has to take anybody’s word for it.

And because freight so often decides whether a deal makes sense, URMRKT shows the total delivered price, product plus shipping, before anyone commits. Know before you buy or sell. Fewer surprises, better decisions, and more money staying where it was earned.

QUALITY THAT SHOWS

When quality is visible, quality gets paid.

A good product shouldn’t sell for the same as a poor one just because nobody could tell them apart. Every listing on URMRKT carries the details that decide real value, whether that’s the test results on a cutting of hay, the grade of a load of grain, or the spec on a tank of fuel. Buyers find exactly what they need. Sellers who do it right get rewarded for it.

Real agronomic detail, so quality is never invisible.

BUILT FOR BOTH SIDES OF EVERY DEAL

Sell to the whole country. Buy from it too.

List what’s in the bin, the tank, or the barn in a few minutes and put it in front of buyers far beyond the county line. Or turn it around and find exactly what an operation needs, delivered price included. No hidden auctions. No middlemen taking a cut in the dark. The product, the price, and the terms stay in the hands of the people making the deal. And the shippers who move it all are part of the marketplace too, with loads they can count on.

ROOTED IN THE COMMUNITY

An official Oklahoma Farm Bureau Member Benefit.

We’re honored that URMRKT is an official Oklahoma Farm Bureau Member Benefit, connecting this marketplace with more than 80,000 member families through an organization that has stood with Oklahoma agriculture for generations. That’s the kind of trust we intend to earn everywhere we go.

OWNED BY THE PEOPLE IT SERVES

A marketplace like this should belong, in part, to its community.

From the beginning, we’ve believed the people this marketplace serves, and the people cheering it on, should have the chance to own a piece of it. That’s why we’re gauging interest in a community investment round on Wefunder, where anyone can follow our progress and, if they choose, make a non-binding reservation of interest. No money is being accepted at this stage. A reservation is simply a way to raise a hand and say, “I want to be part of this.”

An honest word about where we are

We haven’t fully launched, and we won’t pretend otherwise. The screens above are real, but the product is still in the barn getting ready for the field. We’re building it carefully, alongside the farmers, ranchers, haulers, and buyers who will use it, and we’d rather earn trust slowly and keep it than rush and break it. When the doors open, the people reading this will be the first to know.

Two small things, if this letter meant something

  1. Be there when the doors open. Sign up for early access at urmrkt.com. Buyers, sellers, shippers, or simply curious: everyone’s welcome, and it costs nothing.
  2. Follow along. Search “URMRKT” on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. That’s where the next chapter gets posted first.

For 250 years, the people who grow, build, haul, and deliver have carried a nation that didn’t always see the work. Our hope for the next 250 is simple: that the work is seen, the value is clear, and the price is fair. In agriculture first, and in every industry we can reach after it.

Happy 250th, America. And thank you. To the growers and the buyers, the ranchers and the feeders, the haulers and the co-ops, the suppliers and the families behind every one of them, and to everyone simply rooting for a fairer market: the best chapter is the one we get to write next, together.

With gratitude and great hope,
